Last sat was my second time as a NDP NE show spectator and my first at the floating platform watching it! Fz was marching in there as first guard of honour and the whole scene truly melted my heart to bits of liquid happiness. I am so proud of him! Well, I mean I do remember the previous years of NDP on tv, this part was always the MOST BORING part of it all.

"Faster march and get on with it.. Why is it always the same each year? Show some creativity will ya."

But after going through 1 yr plus of ns with him, knowing how tough it is to get to that position, 'first guard of honour' and how much practise they have done to present this whole mundane parade to us, it made me look up to these contingents of ns peeps. I salute you once again! and baby, keep up the good work! 2 more parades to go and by then, you'll start having withdrawal symptoms and miss it already ;) ok my temperamental camera was out of batt for a while again. so here are some shots.

On the whole, this time's NDP was more interactive with the concept of the 'talking' eye. Also, the hosts did a good job in warming the audience up as well. The layout of the parade was pretty much more interesting, too, compared to my p5 experience, which was so long ago. And of course, being there 'live' made the whole experience pinching REAL. I would like to take part in balloting of tickets to NDP next year! date me if u have extra :) haha.
