Just yesterday, shu and I finally got to go for our yoga class at Realyoga. It was still Hatha yoga. But the poses this time were not exactly similar to the last's, which was good in a way as we got to learn new poses. And this time it was more on the forward bending and back bending poses. It was some serious stretching, seriously it is not for cooling down though. It was really more of a stretching workout. yea a workout :) It makes you ache the day after instead of de-aching you. haha. While yesterday I didn't feel the immediate effect of the whole session except on the legs, turning about in bed this morning, I subconciously felt the subtle ache over the whole upper body, mostly emphasizing on the lower and upper back, arms and the sides of my stomach. It's been a long time since I have ached this much. I want a yoga mat.
This is the pose we had most difficulty with--Matsyasana, the Fish pose. I figured, all we need is MORE practice.
