back from batu caves,, and i still haven't got enough out of it! really hope tt we can spend more time there, well like maybe two more days or so? there were SO many routes and only two days,, it's really not enough. insufficient resources,, insufficient time, thus insufficient climbing. but 2 days seem to much to ask for ya? with all the promos and pw stuff that we have to rush, somehow a short 2 days is just sth that we can't afford.
anyway, throughout the trip we experienced scandalous gossips, bonding sessions and of course climbing sessions. lots of thoughts that i want to pen down. ha :) u really want to feel how issit like climbing on natural rock, it pushes u to think out of the box; unrestricted footholds and handholds(u just have to find them); like what phillip have said, it's really "a gift from mother nature". unlike the sch walls, rigid, and restricted, merely a tool. sounds corny ya, like who cares about mother nature nowadays? many prefer physical wealth to mental wealth, not many appreciates the jungles, the caves, the rocks cause of the bugs, humid and "dirtiness". guess what? they are really missing out much on them! natural just beats the artificial rocks hands down, in all aspects, especially on the the risk and gamble we're takin, which is what, i guess, most of us yearned for all along; not an injured knee nor cuts and bruises but rather the feeling of getting to conquer the route. the rocks. most imptly, the love. ultimately, we get SATISFACTION, nevertheless the minor or major injuries we've obtained.
come to think of it, it'll really be good if the passion lasts. i saw a couple at nyamuk. they were so cute. still climbing in their 30s or 40s? that's what i call passion. maybe the other half do matter when it comes to prolonging your passion.. like what many wld say: it takes two to clap. one hand clapping will die down sooner or later ya. xP
love climbing. ^^
