tj orientation-day 3

i'm halfway through orientation already=)
anyway, today's programme is sth i actually look forward to!=x
hee.. cause dragon boat's coming our way!
yea.. trust me.
the past two days' activities are nth compared to this!
in terms of the amount of energy we used,
or the fun we're going to have..
this is the big OOH AAH! *excited?*

it was early in the morning,
we got to be the first batch. *yes!*
there was ongoing cheering on the bus.
*sub sub sub sub oi..~~*
hax but it was too early for the lazy ones to even bother =x,
like me and huiying, so we carried on with our beauty sleep.=)

alas, we've reached the destination.. kallang water sports.
lol i plan to go there during the march hols for kayaking!
hee.. hope i do get a chance to go.
*instead of being tied down by mountains of hw and make up lectures*
and not just make another empty promise to myself.
then it was the usual "safety precautions plus instructions" section,
boring~! xP
yea and so when it was finally over *nodding away already*,
we made our way carefully onto the dragon boat, fully equipped;)

as we settled ourselves down on the ever so wobbly boat,
i was wondering if people wld get sea sickness out of it. lol.
then, the steerer got us out of the cramp position.
basic commands were taught and off we went.
haha it was weird how there were only 2 guys on our boat.
the gals became complaining about "not being able to win the race". like -.-!
oh gosh! where the hell did "gals' power" go to? talking abt practicality=x

so we paddled to the middle of nowhere and rested
due to the over usage of muscles.
it was really tiring, even tho it was just for that short 10 min..
it would really be good to have a few more guys on tt boat.. lol seriously.
during the race, we really lagged behind, big time.
then when it came to splashing,
i barely had the energy to even get the water to reach the other boat,
even though it was only abt a metre between us. xP

we continued rowing till we were really exhausted.
then the guy told us to sit like divers,
as if we were gonna back fall into the sea.
then tt retarded started shaking the boat.from side to side.
vigorously.
*screams filled the air*
the gals were terrified..as water gushed in.
we were getting entirely wet!
lol it was damn fun!
i wanted to jumped into the sea but i didnt bring extra insides.
boo~! or it would really be a blast! waha! =)
